I was sad this summer to say goodbye to my late mother's jaunty ancient blue car. But as it went to its scrapyard in the sky it made me happy that its last journey would help, through the tiny local charity Faith In Water, six girls in Uganda to each have a pack of reusable sanitary pads, which will give them up to three years use and freedom from worry and access to education, as well as two pairs of underwear and laundry soap each. Just £66 but it will make a difference to six young people. Everything was so smoothly done - highly recommend. Thank you Giveacar.

Had been putting off finding a home for my unused motorbike but a move forced the issue. It wasn't worth a fortune but deserved better than the local scrap yard so tried Giveacar.
They were very helpful and efficient and within a few minutes arrangements were being made. I live in quite a rural area so was impressed that within a couple of days the bike had been collected by a professional recovery service.
Giveacar then provided a receipt to say £120 had been forwarded to my nominated charity. Saved me a lot of time and trouble so everyone's a winner.

I have recently given two vehicles away through Giveacar; one was our own whose proceeds went to a charity in Zambia and the other was my late sister's car from which we raised over £100 for Breast Cancer Now.
On both occasions I found the system was simple and highly efficient and the staff all very friendly. From initial contact to having the vehicle taken away was easy and quick - less than a week for one of them!
Highly recommended - getting rid of an old car, letting someone else do the work and donating to your chosen charity - what's not to like?!
