Yorkshire Air Ambulance

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent Charity providing a life-saving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across the whole of Yorkshire.

We fly 365 days a year and since becoming operational in October 2000 we have carried over 6,500 patients. To keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances maintained and in the air we need to raise £12,000 every single day – that’s equivalent to £4.4 million each year.

Without any direct government funding we rely solely on the generosity of individuals organisations across the region to enable the continuation of this vital service.
