See what charities say about us
We've raised over £2million for charities since we started.
Hear from some of them about why they love Givecar...
We are so grateful to Giveacar for so far raising over £2,800 for Rays of Sunshine. All the money raised goes towards granting magical wishes for seriously ill children across the UK and we look forward to receiving further donations in the future.
We’ve been working with Giveacar since 2011 and we’re very happy to offer our supporters such a fantastic scheme. We look forward to working with Giveacar long in to the future.
Giveacar is a great scheme which has raised over £4,000 for Release. I was initially a little sceptical as to how many people would use it, but we’ve seen that this is a highly effective form of passive fundraising. The company is efficient, and we are pleased and thankful to be associated with them.
Giveacar is a brilliant scheme where everybody wins. My sister gave them a call on a Friday to recycle her very rusty, 20-year-old Skoda. They picked it up the following Wednesday. Done. It didn’t cost her a penny and she raised ￡140.00 for Sambat Trust. From a charity’s perspective,we love working with Givecar. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Every time a car is donated to Sambat Trust, we receive a letter with a breakdown of the donation and how we can send a thank you letter to our kind donor. Excellent service and support which is free of charge. So to any charity out there, sign up now because this is an innovative, environmentally friendly and efficient way for you fundraise, and to any generous soul looking to get rid of their old car, please donate it to the Sambat Trust- your old banger can still do some good. And remember, it’s FREE!
We’ve been working with Giveacar since the end of 2010 and we are very pleased to be a part of this fantastic and innovative scheme. Donations through Giveacar have been very generous, which is great as our guide dog service receives no government funding. We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters who have used Giveacar, and it’s a great company to work with. We hope that the supporters of even more good causes use Giveacar in the future – and tell their friends!
We have been working with Giveacar since March 2011 and we’re absolutely delighted by the donations we’ve received through this unique and innovative scheme. Giveacar is such a brilliant way to fundraise for your favourite charity. We hope more and more people use it in the future and raise vital funds to support our work with homeless and vulnerable people.
Since partnering with Giveacar in 2011, War Child has received a fantastic £5,825.46 through the scheme. Givecar is a great example of how simple ideas can be incredibly successful and make a huge difference! The money donated to War Child through Giveacar helps us to support children in the world’s most dangerous war zones through our education, protection and livelihood programmes and we are so grateful for Giveacar’s support.
We have been working with Giveacar for the past year, and so far have raised over £1400 for the Macular Disease Society. These donations will help us in our work supporting people with macular conditions, while also helping our members and supporters to get rid of unwanted vehicles.
The Giveacar staff are always helpful and the service is quick and efficient – just what we look for in a fundraising scheme. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Giveacar in the coming years and I would certainly recommend this environmentally friendly scheme to anyone looking to get rid of their unwanted vehicle.
Doing our bit for the environment is important to Tommy’s, so we are pleased to offer our supporters an innovative way to recycle that can also help fund our research into preventing stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth. Giveacar makes getting rid of your old car so easy, and as a result our supporters have raised over £1,000 for Tommy’s so far!
This is a simple and effective way of attracting a new source of donations as well as reducing the amount of unwanted or unused cars lying around. Our supporters have raised over £5,600 from donating their scrapped cars to CBM UK, which will enable us to continue to transform the lives of more people with disability, their families and communities in the poorest places of the world. This is a great scheme and I would happily recommend to other charities … Well done Giveacar!
