See what charities say about us
We've raised over £2million for charities since we started.
Hear from some of them about why they love Givecar...
PDSA receives no government funding, so donations from initiatives such as Giveacar provide invaluable support to our cause of saving sick and injured pets. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated their car to PDSA through this scheme, it means so much to the people and animals we help.
Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) are really excited to be working with the team at Give a Car. We’d like to send a huge ‘thank you’ to all of our supporters who have been so generous to date in helping put their old cars to good use, helping us work towards our mission of a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free. Every donation helps us further our campaigns on ending captivity, bycatch and hunting and securing rights and safe homes for whales and dolphins – your donations really can, and do, make a huge difference.
Chibozu Community Trust would like to gratefully and sincerely thank Giveacar and supporters that donated their cars towards the donation we received. So many people’s lives in Simooya Village have been improved as a result of the donation received. The Giveacar donation of £937.30 provided clean and safe drinking water to homes in Simooya Village, Simooya Community School and the local Chibozu clinic. The Giveacar team was very helpful and supportive throughout the whole process of raising the required funds for the first phase of the village water project.
Yorkshire Children’s Trust is very happy to be working in partnership with Give a car. It provides a unique way to raise money for a local children’s charity such as ours.
The Giveacar platform is such an innovation in fundraising and give the public a great way to support charities like us in a unique way. The funds we have received from Giveacar make a real difference and cost the charity nothing at all – perfect!
We are excited to be part of this scheme. Your generosity will help us support local people with a learning disability. For example, £400 could enable a local child to attend our specialist after-school club for a whole school term and help them fulfil their potential whilst providing support and respite for their parents.
Thanks to the Giveacar scheme, we have raised over £68,000 for our life saving research. Every day, 460 people will die from heart and circulatory diseases in the UK, but thanks to the support from companies like Giveacar we are able to continue our work to beat heartbreak forever. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has chosen to support the BHF through this scheme.

The Giveacar scheme has helped YoungMinds raise over £1,000 from car donations, helping us to continue our vital work improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. We really appreciate the support and look forward to a continued relationship.
We would like to extend our grateful thanks to Giveacar and to each of our supporters who have donated their car to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, to date we have received an amazing £4,559.66. As an independent Charity, we rely solely on the generosity of groups, individuals and organisations such as Giveacar to enable us to save lives across the region. To keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances maintained and in the air we need to raise £12,000 every single day which is the equivalent of £4.4M a year. Thank you for choosing to support the YAA.” Paul Gowland, Director of Fundraising
Trees for Cities is delighted to be working with Giveacar. The Scrap Car Plant Tree initiative is a brilliant, simple idea that inspires and motivates people to donate their cars. Thanks to the donors who have raised over £4,500 since we started this partnership in 2012. This provides essential funding to plant more urban trees, helping to improve air quality, keep our cities cool and provide fantastic green spaces for people to live, work and play.
