Woodland Trust

The UK is one of the least wooded countries in Europe with only 4% native woodland cover. We need at least twice as many native trees and woods for the sake of wildlife and people, to combat climate change and improve our environment.

Our vision is to see a country rich in native woods and trees enjoyed and valued by everyone.

Our aims:

– Work with others to plant more native trees…

– Protect native woods, trees and their wildlife for the future…

– Inspire everyone to enjoy and value woods and trees…

In as little as 12 years an area of newly planted trees will form beautiful woodland where children can play, adults reflect, wildlife flourishes and communities come together.

For every native tree that exists in the UK today we’d like to plant another. With your help we can achieve this ambitious goal.
