Wallflower

Wallflower is a UK charity located in the heart of Galloway, Scotland. 

Wallflower is dedicated to using modern technology in order to help improve the lives of those isolated because they are suffering from ME (aka CFS), EDS, POTS, Fibromyalgia or Lyme Disease. 

Wallflower’s purpose is to help those people who are invisible to everyone else, existing on the sidelines of life due to chronic illness. Wallflower aims to provide modern technology to those isolated by the following chronic conditions:

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME aka Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ CFS)• Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS)• Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)• Fibromyalgia • Lyme Disease

There are already charities for each of these conditions dedicated to raising awareness and raising funds for medical research. Wallflower has been created to help address the everyday isolation associated with living with these chronic conditions. We want to provide technology aimed at reducing isolation, to sufferers in low income households, who have these – mainly misunderstood – medical conditions, which often makes getting access to help difficult.

At Wallflower our goal is to raise much needed funds through various initiatives, and sponsorship – and we’d love for you to get involved. Our success depends on your support, in order to improve lives, and make the world a better place for people who are educationally and socially isolated by these chronic conditions.
