The Rossendale Trust provides supports and services to adults with learning disabilities. At the Trust we create an environment in which people can develop and grow, enabling them to have ownership of their own lives and futures. Our work is based around three distinct areas of engagement and support – life, work and informal learning. These areas are Supported Living, WorkTaste and Oakwood….
- Supported living accommodation enables people to live as independently as possible, to make their own choices and enjoy being part of the wider community
- Our Oakwood Day Service offers a wide range of informal learning and leisure opportunities to adults with a learning disability. We offer choice and opportunity within environments that encourage social interaction and integration into the local community.
- Through WorkTaste, we provide employment opportunities to people with learning disabilities. We provide people with 1:1 support in the workplace enabling them to learn and develop new skills and build their confidence, whilst making a positive contribution to society.
Your donation to Give A Car will enable us to continue to provide these opportunities and services to adults with learning disabilities enabling them to live full and meaningful lives.
