The Brainwave Centre

Brainwave is a charity that helps children with disabilities achieve greater independence.

Brainwave helps children with a range of conditions including autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. We aim to improve children’s mobility, communication skills and learning potential through a range of educational and physical therapies. We provides a relaxed, fun and friendly atmosphere in our fully equipped centres (in Cheshire, Somerset and Essex) to encourage engagement, learning and development.

Brainwave is an independent organisation that compliments the NHS. We do not receive
government funding, so we rely on voluntary donations to run our service.

Our multidisciplinary team of qualified therapists devise a structured Therapy Programme that families can continue at home, helping children reach their potential.
