St Oswald’s is a charitable hospice rooted in the North East. We provide outstanding, specialist and expert care to adults and children with life-limiting conditions. We strive to provide quality time for everyone.
Situated in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, St Oswald’s purpose-built facilities offer a range of flexible services to North East families.
Our wide range of services include an Inpatient Unit, Day Hospice, a Day Treatment Unit, an Outpatient Clinic, Complementary Therapies and Outreach. We also offer specialist short breaks to North East children and young adults, as well as support and advice for parents, within a relaxed, home-from-home environment.
We make no charge for any of our services, ensuring hospice care is available to everyone.

We have been absolutely delighted to take part in the Giveacar scheme. We have had several cars donated to us through this scheme and it provides us with an additional way to riase very much needed funds to continue improving the lives of animals in The Gambia. It’s such an easy scheme to use and is easy for us as the charity, as well as being easy for th person who needs to scrap their car too.
