St Oswald’s provides hospice care for adults, young people and children with life limiting conditions.
Situated in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, St Oswald’s purpose-built facilities offer a range of flexible services to North East families.
We care for adults with life limiting conditions such as Cancer and Motor Neurone Disease. Our wide range of services include an Inpatient Unit, Day Hospice, a Day Treatment Unit, an Outpatient Clinic, Complementary Therapy and Outreach.
We also offer specialist short breaks to North East children and young adults, as well as support and advice for parents, within a relaxed, home-from-home environment.
Families from across the region – Northumberland and Tyne & Wear – can benefit from our services.
We are a registered charity. Our annual running costs amount to £8.5 million – of which £6.5 million must be raised through voluntary giving.
We make no charge for any of our services, ensuring hospice care is available to everyone.
