St Mungo’s

St Mungo’s vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. Year on year St Mungo’s provide solutions with, and for, people who are sleeping rough or facing homelessness, putting them at the heart of what they do to help them recover.

St Mungo’s is out on the streets, every day and every night, meeting people sleeping rough. They are running hostels and emergency accommodation, giving people the time and space they need to rebuild their lives. And they are there for the long haul, helping people to learn new skills, find jobs and reconnect.

From 2022 to 2023 they supported over 28,000 people who were homeless, or at risk of homelessness through 161 services. They support more than 2,700 people every night.

Their projects and services, which range from outreach, accommodation and floating support services, to skills, employment and care, help people to become housed, healthier and more hopeful. Their prevention service helps to stop people becoming homeless in the first place. Their influencing work focuses on working together with the Government and local authorities to achieve their ambition of ending rough sleeping by 2026.
