Saint Benedict’s (ICKSP)

Saint Benedict’s object is to advance the education and the Catholic faith of children up to the age of 19, through providing support to home-educating families. This is done principally through the provision of lessons, on a part-time basis, at the Saint Benedict Academy – a Catholic Education Centre in Preston.

Saint Benedict’s is a fee-paying education center. However, they do not wish to turn away those who cannot afford the full fees, so the Academy relies on the generosity of benefactors to help those attend who otherwise couldn’t afford it.

At Saint Benedict’s, teaching is focused on seven key subject areas: catechism, English, mathematics, music, the sciences, Latin, and French. Teachers include Canons of the Institute of Christ the King, Sister Adorers, seminarians and lay people.
