The Royal Osteoporosis Society are proud to be the only UK-wide charity dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. With more than 30 years of expertise and experience behind us, we are committed to helping keep the nation’s bones stronger for longer. We provide vital information and fight for faster diagnoses. And we speak up for those affected, because so often they’re not recognised, not listened to and are denied the support they need to live a life free from pain. Osteoporosis is not ‘just one of those things’. Driving research for the development of new medications and treatments – we are determined to find a cure.

Few people in the UK really understand what osteoporosis is. Even fewer understand the true extent of the impact it has on lives; robbing those affected of self-confidence, reducing independence and making everyday activities a challenge. That’s why we work to raise awareness among medical professionals, policymakers and society as a whole. Because only by collectively prioritising bone health will we reduce the number of people whose days are destroyed by this debilitating condition. By placing our beneficiaries at the heart of everything we do, we not only help improve today but provide a better tomorrow.
