Rainbow Stars is a charity that was set up after an incident in a local library that was meant to be a safe place. Two mothers who both have children, who are Autistic and have additional needs.
Rainbow π Stars now has over two thousand members and their families. They have been open nearly 8 years we support members and their families who have ADHD, ADD, Mental health issues, life limiting diseases, Dementia, cerebral palsy, domestic violence and LBGT, Refugees, The elderly and homeless people.
We are open 5 days a week we offer daily activities crafts, painting, making varies stuff. Jewellery, bird boxes, decorations for Easter, Christmas. We also have a manic Monday, sibling group, after school club, home education and sensory sessions we have a new sensory room paid for by Moy Park at Anwick Lincolnshire, We also do outings to the cinema and swimming, to fun parks adventure parks, bowling. We have also got funding for a new kitchen so we can teach children and their families and older members life skills like food budgeting, healthy meals, washing, ironing, how to store food safely. We do so much more as a charity we have 15 volunteers who all have their own children adults with additional needs but dedicate their time to support others.
We will never turn anyone away who needs our support or help.
