NSPCC

Location: London
Causes: Children

The NSPCC is here to end cruelty to children in the UK by fighting for their rights, listening to them, helping them when they need us and making them safe.

1 in 5 children in the UK have suffered abuse or neglect.  That’s why, across the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, we’re working to protect children today and prevent abuse from happening tomorrow. As the UK’s leading children’s charity fighting to end child abuse, we’ve remained committed to this mission for over 100 years.

We provide national services such as ChildLine and our Helpline for concerned adults to provide support for all children. Our local services focus on the most acute forms of abuse and the most vulnerable, highest risk children working in areas such as sexual abuse or children under one so that we can bring help, advice and treatment to children at risk or those who have been abused.

We believe every child is worth fighting therefore our priority is helping children rebuild their lives, and we find ways to prevent abuse from ruining anymore. When a child needs a helping hand, we’ll be there. When parents are finding it tough, we’ll help. When laws need to change, or governments need to do more, we won’t give up until things improve.

Giveacar and its donors are proud supporters of NSPCC, as they work hard at rebuilding children’s lives. If you’re planning to scrap or sell your car, give a car instead to help them protect children today and prevent child abuse. As an independent charity which receives around 90% of its funding from supporters they rely heavily on the support of people. Make a difference and support NSPCC when you donate your car to charity.

The NSPCC has greatly benefitted through the Giveacar scheme and we would like to thank each and every one of the donors who have chosen the NSPCC to benefit through their participation in this car scrappage initiative. From a simple idea conceived by a young man with talent and vision ,we have watched this social business, with giving at its heart, grow to what it has become today – an amazing success - helping many worthwhile causes! Thank you Giveacar – you are enabling people to really make a difference to the lives of children through your support for the NSPCC and ChildLine and we are very grateful.

The least painful way to say goodbye to a car!

An efficient, well explained process. Collector was very likeable, which made it easier to part with a car which had been part of the family for eleven years. Thank you Giveacar!
It's always great to support Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
