We start off by listening and asking the right questions; we know it can be daunting to get help. Our team is experienced and mentors work one-to-one to understand needs and challenges. More often than not, we can help people in more than one way. Time and time again, feedback from our customers illustrates the positive journey and its impact… it’s not just about getting the right job, but increasing self-esteem through training, improving any problems at home and getting help with health issues.
Learning: reach your potential
Families: build stronger families
Health: positive lasting changes
Furnish: preloved furniture and employment We also work with communities because people are affected by the neighbourhood in which they live. We meet with communities to identify the needs and aspirations of local people. We then support the community as it works towards its goals by inspiring people to aim higher and get the help they need to improve their life chances. Some of the issues affecting local communities include poverty, social exclusion, unemployment, community safety and health inequality.
Learning Links runs multiple projects and commissions in learning, family support and health and wellbeing. It has also set up two social enterprises:
Optimum Training in 2014 and Edu-Care Recycling UK in 2012.
