The Langley Foundation mission is the prevention and relief of young people suffering from financial hardship as a result of a recent onset of a long term illness or disability.
The Foundation will help individuals facing extreme difficulties where its support can offer some long term benefit:
– provide small grants to families to relieve some of the early financial pressures and to buy time to make those all important decisions.
– provide and signpost to services offering legal, financial and emotional support and advice.
-provide funds for short breaks to families where they can enjoy time away together in the UK and gain some sense of normality in difficult circumstances.
– campaign to dramatically increase the number of young people on the donor register and play its part in raising awareness of the need for bone marrow and stem cell donors.
