Kids Club Kampala

Kids Club Kampala (KCK) is a UK charity helping vulnerable kids in the slums of Uganda to survive and thrive. Providing for both their immediate needs and strengthening their futures through educating, feeding, protecting and skilling. Our vision is to see lives transformed, communities empowered and poverty reduced throughout Uganda.

Over the last 12 years we have achieved:
● 45 million meals provided to hungry children and families
● Free education made available for 1,000 children
● Counselling for 3,000 vulnerable young people
● Vital income generation skills training for 850 individuals
● 155 children rescued from abandonment and abuse
● 83 children reunited with loving families
● 300,000 people reached across all our projects so far.

We work in partnership with our team in Uganda who passionately lead and implement our projects which are a life line to some of the most vulnerable children in the world. The children that we are working with come from extremely poor households and the conditions in Kampala’s slums are shocking. The slums are notorious for drug and alcohol abuse, violent crime and abject poverty. People face problems of overcrowding, poor sanitation, insufficient shelter and food insecurity on a daily basis. Many children have been orphaned, neglected or simply abandoned as a result of poverty or sickness. We are passionate about protecting and empowering these children, letting them know they are loved and helping them to overcome their situations of poverty.
