Halton Haven Hospice is just that; a place of calmness, sitting in peaceful gardens and with it’s own woodland. A haven of tranquility for those travelling on their final journey and for the family, friends and community of Halton and the surrounding areas.
The services provided by Halton Haven Hospice include a 12 bed inpatient unit. All of the rooms are ensuite and 3 have direct access to the garden through French windows. The team specialise in providing person centred comfort and care; but also on the family and friends of all our patients. Life in the Hospice includes having fun as well as making memories. It’s a place where we have weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, the ice cream van, local singers and all manner of different occasions. We also have an open visiting policy which is both pet and child friendly.
We pride ourselves in our holistic approach. Our Day Hospice provides complimentary therapies, a listening ear and social opportunities. It’s a place to make friends and to enjoy some of our complimentary therapies whilst feeling free to discuss subjects that you may not wish to broach with anyone else. We even have a fishing club – The Halton Hookers!
And we never forget the families and friends of our patients. In our Family Support Unit we are able to offer support and counselling for those who have suffered loss.
People like you support us each year to give specialist end of life care to the community of Halton and surrounding areas. Without their generosity of spirit we couldn’t care for the patients, their families, friends and others who have lost loved ones.
We are grateful for every bit of support given to us. By getting involved, no matter in how small a way, you are helping our community and making a difference. We’ve been here for 35 years and with your support we’ll be here for much longer.
