Dementia Pathfinders Community Interest Company works nationally to provide therapeutic care and support for people with dementia and their families, and programmes of education and learning for people working in the dementia care field.
We work through establishing strong, mutually respectful partnerships with individuals and groups who share our desire to improve life for people with dementia and their carers. We collaborate with academic institutions, independent service providers, public sector organisations in health and social care, and individuals with dementia and their families, to deliver projects that make a difference.
Dementia Pathfinders believes that high quality dementia training is the foundation for excellent services. We can offer practical guidance on a broad range of issues like management of dementia services or workforce development to name a few. We welcome contact with organisations to discuss specific requirements and we can offer a service built around our customers’ budgets, timescales and priorities.
The perspectives of those living with dementia are often unheard. We believe that people with dementia are able to express their views and influence the way services are designed. We are committed to listening to people with dementia and their relatives: we aim to translate their views and aspirations into practical changes at local level.
