Crisis Centre Ministries is a Christian charity that has been working in Bristol for 30 years, helping those suffering from homelessness, addiction and extreme poverty into healthy independent lifestyles.
We run four main projects to tackle poverty:
A Drop-In Centre (The Wild Goose) which is open five days and six evenings a week where clients can receive free hot food, practical support and referral for appropriate social & voluntary services.
The Ladies Night Shelter (Spring of Hope) that provides temporary safe and warm accommodation as well as emotional & practical support to women with complex needs fleeing from abuse, relationship breakdown and prostitution.
The LIFE Skills & Initial Training for Employment Course (LIFE) that teaches fundamental life skills and basic preparation for work for adults who have a history of homelessness, addiction, mental health problems and crime.
The East Bristol Food Bank that aims to provide short-term emergency food provision to those in extreme need.
