Avon Needs Trees

Avon Needs Trees is buying land in the Bristol-Avon Catchment Area to reforest and re-wild. By planting trees we create new, permanent forest, which will sequester carbon from the air, enhance biodiversity and provide natural flood management – plus water and air quality improvement and more public amenity space.

In August 2020 we completed the purchase of our first piece of land – 34 acres juts outside Calne, Wiltshire – and will begin planting in November 2020. We are already working on our next land purchase, but we need your support!
