Throughout 2020 and despite two lockdowns we have maintained our car donation service with limited interruptions. As more charities adapt to new ways of fundraising and, donors look at alternative methods to give to their favourite causes, the number of car donations has risen compared to 2019. We arranged the donation of over 2000 vehicles this year, an increase of 16% on 2019. Through supporter’s generous vehicle donations, the total raised this year is an incredible £370,857.62! That works out to over £1,000 donated per day this year.
Whether it’s the most frequently donated car, a ford focus, or something a bit more weird and whacky, every donation matters and has helped charities when they need it more than ever. We’ve picked out some of the donations highlights for 2020. Take a look below at how your car donations have helped charities this year.

Lastly, out of the more unusual donations we received this year, one stood out from the rest.
We want to say thank you to everyone who donated a vehicle this year! Your generosity has helped the 1,900 charities registered on our scheme through a difficult year. We can’t wait to organise even more vehicle donations in 2021. Help support your favourite causes and donate a vehicle you no longer need or spread the word about the vehicle donations; be it a car, motorbike, van, caravan, or even something a little more unusual we would love to turn it into a donation for charity.
