A global competition looking for innovative social projects. We were the only UK finalist and the BBC filmed a 10 minute documentary on Giveacar – short clip below. We made it down to the last 12 finalists but missed out on a podium finish. We are thrilled to be considered one of the 12 most innovative social enterprises in the world though!
Observer Ethical Award
Finalist, Big Idea Category
This award has thousands of entries so we were delighted to make the final three. We were gutted to miss out on winning but enjoyed a fantastic evening at the awards which were attended by the likes of Colin Firth, Lily Cole, Rick Hall, and Ben Okri. We also were given a nice runner’s-up prize of £500.

Giveacar made the final three in the environmental category of this competition, which would have seen us receive free advertising from the Metro.
