Scope delivers inspiring services which offer vital support for thousands of disabled children and their families each year.

There is a huge demand for these services to create positive lasting change in our communities. Right now, many families with disabled children are struggling to cope: “80% of families with children who are severely disabled or have profound learning disabilities reach breaking point due to lack of support.”

Our aspiration is a world where families remain strong and disabled children can thrive, but we can’t make it happen on our own. The money raised by Giveacar will fund vital projects which enable disabled children to fulfil their potential.

One child supported by Scope is Charlie. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was just seven months old. His mother Olivia said:
“Without Scope we would still be scared senseless. Scope has made us more positive about the future. I’m able to ring Penny, our Support Worker, who has always got her hands on the information you need. Having that immediate source of information is so important. I feel empowered and Charlie is a much happier little boy now.”
