Richmond Users Independent Living Scheme

RUILS is an independent, grassroots organisation that is user run and led by its peers - the people who use its services. We act as the champion, representative and peer supporter of anyone who has a Personal Budget and in particular a Direct Payment living in Richmond. Our aim is to ensure that people get the outcomes that they want and that that maximises their choice, control and independence.
The work that we do supports individuals to become or  remain active members of their communiity - living the life that they want to live. We provide advice and information, practical support, help with finding the right staff to employ, support finding activities and/or providers and support to set up and keep the individuals' support in place.
