[value] => North Staffs Carers Association is a well known local charity who has been offering services to Carers for over 20 years. We provide information, support and free activities to informal unpaid Carers throughout North Staffordshire. Carers from the age of 5 up receive age related services from us to enable them to be healthy safe and experience a life of their own whilst looking after a loved one.
Carers provide unpaid care by looking after a disabled, ill, or frail family member, partner or friend. Carers can be any age, gender or religion. Being a Carer is not selective and can affect anybody from all walks of life. Many people do not recognise that they are a Carer, instead seeing themselves as mum or dad; husband or wife; brother or sister; or simply a friend. Carers often regard their caring role as part of their normal responsibilities to their family and friends.
The association is well regarded and is considered to be at the forefront of Carers Services in North Staffordshire.
