International Emergency Action

Founded in 1979, International Emergency Action is a non governmental organisation registered in England and France as a Natural Disaster Preparedness, Response and Reconstruction Team. The Agency has no political, religious or financial bias and is a long established European leader in the field. Our Rescue and Recovery Teams are trained to international standards of competence and comply with international disaster response guidelines and humanitarian law. The Agency is a signatory to the IFRC Code of Good Practice.
Since its inception in the 1970s the organisation has undertaken practical training and provides opportunities for people of all nations who are interested in our work to participate actively as volunteers.
Investments in our work made by donors are crucial to our success, and we actively encourage donors to specify where and how they would like their gift spent when making a donation.
