Doing our bit for the environment is important to Tommy’s, so we are pleased to offer our supporters an innovative way to recycle that can also help fund our research into preventing stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth. Giveacar makes getting rid of your old car so easy, and as a result our supporters have raised over £1,000 for Tommy’s so far!

Since promoting Giveacar to our supporters we have raised over £3,000 for St Richard’s Hospice. It is a great way of securing extra revenue for the hospice and is an easy and efficient process for the donor. St Richard’s publicises the scheme and Giveacar do the rest…. all we have to do is thank the generous supporter and bank the money. We would recommend Giveacar to any charity looking for alternative ways of raising extra funds.

Action Medical Research has raised over £1,200 in the last year with Giveacar. It's such a simple idea and even our staff have got involved. Our Communications Manager, Claudine Powell, recycled her car for Action and recommends others do the same. "I searched for a reliable scrap car dealer online. When I found somewhere that sent the profits to charity, I thought that was great. Giveacar’s service was excellent. I filled in my details online and received a phone call an hour later. A local scrap dealer arrived bang on time the next morning and took the car away with no hassle. It made my life easier and raised £100 for Action. I would encourage anyone who has a car to get rid of to think about using this service. You can raise money for a good cause as well as helping the environment.”

Giveacar is a wonderful way to support Trinity Hospice and make a difference to people who are at an advanced stage of illness in our central and south west London community. With Giveacar’s help we are able to provide our expert services free of charge. Every car donated really does make a difference. After just a few months the donations from Giveacar paid for one week of our expert nursing care which we provide at our inpatient centre and in the community in people's homes. Thank you.

Giveacar and Marie Curie Cancer Care have been working together for over 6 months now and we’ve found this to be a very valuable relationship. The idea behind Giveacar is a fantastic one and is raising money for great charities across the UK. Every £20 raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care through Giveacar funds an hour of nursing care by Marie Curie Nurses for a terminally ill patient in their own home. We are delighted to be working together and look forward to growing this relationship in the future.

Infertility Network UK are delighted to be working with Giveacar.
