The Fountain (Bedford)

The Fountain will be a new town centre youth and community venue in Bedford.

We believe there is a real need for a venue that both provides somewhere for young people to go, and that can provide easy access to a range of services through a team of volunteers helping build relationships. We're raising money to get set up and started in a town centre location, and we've already received the backing of our MP, the Mayor of Bedford, lots of local service providers and several local councillors.

The vision is being led by a team of directors with a range of experience in youth, community and project work, headed up by Chris Johnson. Chris has worked as a youth worker in a local church for 5 years, and during that time has been involved in a number of drop in and regular session projects. It is anticipated a wide variety of organisations will be involved, including healthcare, education, careers, arts and faith sector partners.
