FLACK
FLACK is a charitable social enterprise based in Cambridge. We work with the energy and potential of homeless people by involving them in all aspects of the production of a monthly what’s on magazine. Flack offers training, support and a voice to people who are often overlooked; and so helps to rebuild their self-esteem and break the cycle of homelessness.
FLACK is concerned with lasting, long term impact. FLACK responds to the need of homeless people to rebuild their self-efficacy and motivation by replacing destructive/chaotic behaviours with meaningful activity.
FLACK aims to improve the position of homeless people in society by:
• rebuilding the self-efficacy and motivation of homeless people.
• improving the perception of homeless people by themselves and the wider public • enabling homeless people to identify and realise their aspirations • enabling the wider public to benefit from the contribution of homeless people.
