DASL

DASL aims are two fold in terms of the provision of treatment services for people affected by substance misuse and the prevention and education of substance misuse and related problems through education, training and community activities. Based in East London, DASL services include community alcohol teams, structured groupwork programme, community detoxification, education, advice and information and projects targeted at marginalised groups, in particular older people, those in contact with the criminal justice services, people from minority communities and those affected by domestic violence. Services and publicity are provided in community languages and offering services, which are accessible and appropriate for the local communities, remains a high priority. Services are available during office hours, in the evenings and at weekends.
