Every year, Compton Hospice provides palliative care for around 1,500 people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Our patients come from Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, South Staffordshire, East Shropshire and Sandwell. At any one point in time, the hospice is caring for over 625 local people through an inpatient unit, day care facilities, community nurse specialist teams and other services.
Since 1982, Compton Hospice has been praised for the excellent standard of care given to desperately ill local men and women – and their families – at the most difficult time they will face. All of this care is provided absolutely free of charge.
