Children’s Hospice Week

From the 11th – 17th May it is Children’s Hospice Week, and it’s a time to raise awareness, do some fundraising for children with life-limiting conditions and the services, like children’s hospices, that support them.

Here at Giveacar we have nearly 20 charities dedicated to Children’s Hospices, so this week we are encouraging you to donate your old or unwanted cars in aid of Children’s Hospices across the UK.

The aim of the week is to raise awareness of:

  • What life is like for families caring for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions,
  • To improve the public’s understanding of the range of services available out there to support families,
  • To raise money for children’s palliative care services.
  • There is also a theme behind the week: Making every moment count

All our Children’s Hospice related charities are up to various things over the week, you can find them actively on social media. Here are what a couple of our Children’s Hospice related charities are up to this week
