ChildHope UK
Worldwide millions of children face a life living or working on the streets, are subjected to abuse from adults, are working in dangerous jobs or are physically or sexually abused. Many other children are orphaned or living alone and are at risk of HIV or denied treatment for AIDS.
We work in 10 countries throughout Africa, Asia and South America aiming to improve the lives of vulnerable children by providing access to education, healthcare, counselling and other services.
Throught our projects we aim to secure social justice for children and young people in Africa, Asia and South America by;
• Supporting street children in India, Bangladesh, Kenya and Tanzania
• Reducing hazardous child labour and improving access to education in Peru and India
• Stopping the exploitation of girls in Ethiopia, Bangladesh and Peru
• Improving juvenile justice in Brazil and Bangladesh
• Reconciling children with their families in Sierra Leone
• Assisting children including orphans affected by HIV and AIDS in Ethiopia and Uganda
• Reducing abuse in schools in Uganda
