Breast Cancer UK
Breast Cancer UK is a movement of people that has set itself a huge challenge.
Together, we want to reduce breast cancer rates by reducing our exposure to cancer causing and hormone disrupting chemicals that accumulate in our bodies and affect our health.
We challenge policy makers and manufacturers to eliminate the problematic environmental pollutants that are one of the underlying causes of the rising incidence of the disease – and we work with scientists that are spearheading world class research into the full risks and impacts of these chemicals.
Formed in April 1999, we became a registered charity in August 2001. Since then, we have grown rapidly. Today, we have a network across the UK and Europe-wide influence through funders, networks and the European Parliament.
