[value] => Since 1982, Brainwave has worked with families to deliver individual home based therapy and exercise programmes that help children with disabilities and developmental delay to achieve their potential. That potential could be anything from a child walking or feeding themselves, to counting or forming sentences. Our attitude is ‘let’s see what can be done’, rather than what cannot.
Brainwave now has three Centres: one in Bridgwater, Somerset, another in Witham, Essex and a third in Birchwood, near Warrington, Cheshire. These Centres have proven to be a beacon of hope for many families of children who have suffered a brain injury, have a genetic condition such as Downs Syndrome or developmental delay, sometimes even a combination of all three.
When a child attends Brainwave they, and their parents, spend a whole two days at one of our centres. Here they are assessed by our dedicated team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Child Development Therapists, among many other professionals. Together, they work with the family to devise a unique Programme, specifically designed to suit that child’s needs, which will help and encourage them to unlock the child’s potential, whatever that might be.
We are an independent charity that receives no government funding, relying on donations to deliver our work.
[summary] => Founded in 1982, Brainwave works with families to deliver individual home based therapies that help children with disabilities reach their full potential. This can be anything from walking to recognising numbers and covers a range of conditions including Autism, Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.

Brainwave
Since 1982, Brainwave has worked with families to deliver individual home based therapy and exercise programmes that help children with disabilities and developmental delay to achieve their potential.
