Blenheim Project

HQ Location:
West Yorkshire

Location of benefit:
UK only (local)

The Blenheim Project offers quality service provision through Support Plans for homeless women and children, including temporary accommodation, childcare services, resettlement and community based support.
The Temporary Accommodation Service offers a place where homeless women with or without children can stay until they get a permanent place to live. We are staffed 24 hours a day and during their stay Service Users are offered support from an allocated Key Worker, who will help them with any problems they may have, access any benefits or grants that may be available to them, finding a permanent place to live and setting up their new home.
The Floating Support Service offers emotional and practical support for up to two years to women living in their own tenancies where without this support the tenancy would be in danger of failing.
The Childcare service is set in fully equipped play and soft rooms situated in the Project’s Temporary Accommodation. Daily sessions are held for all children including crèche, Kids Club and Family Times. The Staff carry out regular trips for the children visiting many places of interest and fun. The service is available to children of all our Service Users and is registered with Ofsted. The team work with Social Services, local Health Visitor, schools, family centres and many other agencies to meet the needs of the children.
