Berkshire Maestros is a charitable trust providing a wide range of music services to children and young people in Bracknell Forest, Reading, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, West Berkshire and Wokingham.

Established in 1982 as the Berkshire Young Musicians Trust, it rebranded as
Berkshire Maestros in 2006.  Generally regarded as one of the finest youth music organisations in the country, thousands of children have music lessons with Maestros every week.  The emphasis in each Maestros music session is on
learning through fun.

Every week Maestros teaches thousands of children in schools across the county.  In addition, hundreds of young people meet at our music centres, after school and on Saturday mornings to sing in choirs and play in bands and orchestras.  Playing or singing in one of the many groups on offer allows budding musicians to build on their lesson experience, make new friends, learn new skills and most importantly, have lots of fun!

Berkshire Maestros is passionate about music and is dedicated to bringing the
joy of music-making to as many as possible from the age of 6 months upwards
and is constantly developing and implementing new projects with schools,
community groups and other arts organisations.
