Arthritis Research UK is the charity leading the fight against arthritis. Our aim is to reduce the pain and disability for the 10 million people living with this debilitating condition in the UK. We do this by:
• Funding world-class research into the causes, prevention and treatment of arthritis. We currently carry out more than 250 distinct research projects throughout the UK
• Providing free, quality information on over 200 different forms of arthritis to members of the public, our donors and to help train GPs in recognising arthritis symptoms
• Campaigning to improve the lives of those living with arthritis. We are committed to lobbying the government to get arthritis on the national agenda as well as  campaigning for better diagnosis for people living with arthritis from the medical profession
We receive no government funding and rely solely on public support to continue our life changing work.
