Action Homeless
Action Homeless, founded in 1973, runs 10 hostels and homes for people who are homeless and gives advice and support at our Drop-In Centre to people who are worried about homelessness or who are setting out in a new tenancy.
We help about 300 people each year escape from rough sleeping or domestic abuse by giving them a room of their own and the support they need to restore their lives. At Action Homeless we treat everyone as an individual and our dedicated staff develop tailored programmes for every service user. We listen to what our service users say so that they can receive the best help and support for their particular situation.
“Action Homeless helped me get my life back to what it should be like.” (Brian, a service user)
